
If you have your hearing aids paired up to your Android or iPhone, here are some troubleshooting tips if you are running into issues with dropped pairings or odd behaviours.
- Switch your Bluetooth off then on to reboot the pairing.
- Close out all apps in the background, especially the hearing aid app.
- Check to make sure your phone and the app is up to date.
- Reboot your phone.
If the issues persist, you may have to remove the pairings and start from scratch.
What does it mean if your phone is not compatible?
This does not necessarily mean the hearing aids and app cannot be used on the phone, it means that it may not behave in a consistent manner that the manufacturer has identified as an ongoing issue. Manufacturers have lists of compatible devices on their website or a bar code in the clinic can be scanned to confirm your device’s compatibility.
